"Giving is a Team Sport"

That’s the title of the latest article to hit the B1G1 (Buy1GIVE1) website. An article written about us!

If you haven’t heard of B1G1, the idea is simple – to make giving (and making a difference) a habit, rather than something you only do when there is a tin being rattled under your nose.

“It’s true. Changing lives just by doing what you normally do.

It’s effortless and so beautifully simple: someone does business with you, some real good gets done. As a direct result, you really start to connect with your customers, your team (and indeed yourself).

And here in B1G1 you get to see the tangible impact your giving has on people while knowing 100% of what you give is going to the causes you choose.”

From a business perspective, this is really important. And for so many reasons too. Simon Sinek, author of the book Start With Why, says that “The goal is not to do business with everybody who needs what you have. The goal is to do business with people who believe what you believe”, and what better way to really demonstrate with action what you believe than by doing it – making a difference and changing lives, habitually.

But putting aside the ‘high level’ and getting right down to the guts of it – what better way to stand out from your competition? To do something truly different, unexpected and, considered by many, ‘unnecessary’.

I’m not talking about all of this to blow our own horn. I’m really sharing this because you too can make the same difference that we make for so many around the world every single week. If you haven’t yet looked at the B1G1 site, or watched any of Paul Dunn’s YouTube videos, I urge you to check it out.
